Elisa Kucalaba - Week 6 Devlog

-Project Organization-

August 23rd - September 26th : +10 hours

Since forming this group, I have had the role of project organizer. During the past 6 weeks, I have made a workspace to organize our thoughts and ideas, created a Discord server for our team, and have taken meeting notes during every get-together.




-Moodboard References-

September 18th - September 26th : 1 hour & 30 minutes

My job for our game's 25% sprint was to find images of other games and/or artwork that matched the style we would be trying to achieve.  The style that we found to be most enjoyable was by Karel Matejka, ko_dll,  on Artstation. (None of the images were created by me. See links embedded in images for more details.) The other images of the body were found on Google by searching "inside body" images. These were chosen because of the patterns they included that were meant to represent the different parts of the human body. These images will be of great help when it comes to designing tilesets and additional artwork.





-Palette & Tileset-

September 20th - September 26th : 1 hour

My other role in the first 25% of this game was to research color palettes and play around with the highlight and shading on objects. We decided on Asarge's Hot Highlights, Cold Shadows Palette on Lospec. This is because of the vibrant saturation of the colors. Below is an image of the palette we will be using and the start of a tileset I am with the thyroid as my reference. (The palette was not created by me.
