After deciding on a palette last week, I continued with my thyroid-inspired tileset practice. We also finalized where the levels will take place in the body and the levels' names. The first level is called "Pancreas Playground" and this will be where the players will test out the controls of the game and is the infant age of our main character. For this, I started trying out a pattern to match the pancreas image below (This image was not created by me. See link embedded in image for more details).
-Environment Sketch-
October 1st - October 4th : + 3 hours
Today, Grayson and I talked and we agreed that I should sketch the look and feel of each level to be approved before making tilesets. That way I know what assets I need to make for the project. I'm going to start simple and get feedback often. Our mood board will definitely help keep the style consistent when I start making pixel art
